For a tribute band who have been together nearly twice as long as the originals, the Fab Beatles retain great enthusiasm for what they do.
Playing the same music nightly would have driven many to break-up point, but these "boys"
clearly pride themselves on sounding more and more like the real thing.
They use authentic instruments including John's distinctive Rickenbacker guitar and have even bought the drum kit Ringo used on the 1964 US tour.
The tiny Vox amps are also like the originals but the sound is augmented by larger ones behind.
This means that, in one way, the experience is better than watching the original Beatles, who I saw in 1963, because the music is not drowned out by audience participation.
There was plenty of that on Saturday, with fans joining in on early hits through to Sgt Pepper classics and Hey Jude.
