A motorcyclist died in a collision on Monday.
A road police unit came across the man's body in Chalkpit Lane, in Lavant, near Chichester at about 10.10pm.
It is not known how he fell from his Honda 125 bike. The man, who was 24 and believed to be from the area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are still confirming his identity. They remained at the scene yesterday to investigate why the man fell from his bike. The road was not closed.
