I want plastic surgery to improve the appearance of my sagging stomach. I've found a clinic in London where the surgeon will do it for £3,000. He has FRCS after his name so am I right in thinking he must be a really top-notch plastic surgeon?
No way. FRCS is really a fairly basic surgical qualification and doesn't mean the guy is skilled in plastic surgery. Recently, I've seen several women who had undergone poorly-performed cosmetic operations. So take care. You'd do well to pick yourself a good surgeon by consulting the website of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. It is www.baaps.org.uk
