A 23-year-old man was appearing in court today charged with attempted murder after a 63-year-old man was found in his own home with multiple stab wounds.
The victim was discovered at the property in Bentswood Crescent, Haywards Heath, just after 8am on Good Friday.
He had lost a lot of blood after he received multiple stab wounds, and and was flown by air ambulance to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel with life-threatening injuries.
Colin Edwards, also of Bentswood Crescent, Haywards Heath, will appear at Crawley Magistrates' Court today charged with attempted murder.
