Wood washed up from the stricken cargo vessel, Ice Prince, will be cleared within two weeks, council bosses have said.
Work to remove the stockpiled timber on Worthing beach will resume on Tuesday morning after the Easter break.
Worthing Borough Council, which has faced criticism over the length of time it has taken to carry out the work, said the operation should be finished by April 8.
Beaches east of Worthing Pier were reopened early last week and the majority of the remaining wood is now around Heene Road.
The Greek registered Ice Prince sank 26 miles off the Dorset coast on January 14.
