Seeing hip-hop legend Guru perform live was something of a treat.
The groundbreaking artist fused rap with jazz on his Jazzmatazz albums in the 1990s and has collaborated with the likes of Roy Ayers and Donald Byrd.
Unfortunately, by the time he, fellow rapper Solar and DJ Doo Wop arrived, the crowd had been kept waiting for almost an hour with no explanation for the delay.
Most people had left by the time the New York trio finally made it on stage at 2.15am and it was only the hardcore fans that ended up greeting them.
Highlights included classics such as Ex To Next Girl and Just To Get A Rep as well as new tune Just Too Slick.
While for many it was enough to see such a legend perform, the lack of live support or Guru's jazz-influenced work meant he was not armed with the Full Clip we had come to expect.
