A woman is being treated in hospital after fire tore through her home.
Firefighters were called to a house in Satinwood Close, Middleton, near Bognor, at about 4.20pm today.
Crews from Littlehampton and Bognor were called after the fire began in the ground floor living room.
The woman was rescued from the house after becoming trapped in an upstairs room. She was taken to hospital for treatment, where her condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
A spokeswoman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said the house was 75 per cent affected by smoke and fire.
No other houses were affected and there were no other injuries.
