A fisherman died after going missing from his vessel off the Sussex coast.
The body of the Belgian fisherman was found after he went missing this afternoon.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "A body was found in the water about 20 miles off the coast and was brought into Brighton."
He said the body had not yet been formally identified, but the incident would now be investigated by Belgian police.
Search and rescue teams were scrambled after the crew of the Zilmermeeuw, a Belgian-registered vessel, reported their skipper missing 15 miles south of Newhaven.
The five remaining crew members said he had disappeared while they were below deck eating their lunch.
