Rory served his apprenticeship as Erol Alkan's sidekick during the glory years of the seminal London night Trash. After its demise, Rory started up the weekly DURRR party, which recently celebrated its first anniversary.
Continuing its predecessor's open-minded indie-dance ethos, it has featured live shows from Soulwax, Simian Mobile Disco, Late Of The Pier and Foals, in addition to guest DJ slots from Justice and Klaxons.
As well as starting up the more disco-centric Say Yes nights, Rory has begun to move into production work, with remixes of Chromeo and Gossip, as well as Robyn's number one With Every Heartbeat.
He played keyboards in Whitey's band during last year's US tour and is currently working on new material.
Support comes from the Blah Blah Blah DJs.
