Pupils got a taste of life as an artist when a school staged an art exhibition.
The exhibition showcased paintings the children at Cottesmore St Mary's Catholic School, Hove, had done in their art classes.
Each year group had been assigned a famous artist to inspire their own work and they followed a theme related to that artist through their own art classes.
The finished works of art were professionally framed and exhibited in the school hall.
Parents were invited to view the exhibition and buy paintings to help raise money for the school.
Angie Pinnell, the school's business manager, said: "The children were all very excited. It was really good to give them some perception of what a real art exhibition is like because most of them had no experience of that."
