The article in the Business section about Brighton Housing Trust's (BHT) training programme for staff working in care and support services accurately reports the 100 training events we have planned for the next 12 months (The Argus, March 18).
The courses are already attracting a great deal of interest and should assist greatly in improving skills across the care and support sector in Brighton and Hove and elsewhere in Sussex.
The courses are modestly priced and relevant. Increasingly they are accredited courses. This week, for example, the Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults course received accreditation.
There was just one error in your coverage - your headline "Training for volunteers". While training can be provided for volunteers, the main recipients will be paid, professional workers. BHT is proud of its contribution to increasing skills in this sector.
