AN APPEAL is being launched to find two prisoners who have escaped from prison.
Gary Foy and Christopher Pike are thought to have left HMP Ford in West Sussex within two days of each other. Police enquiries suggest that the pair are together.
Foy, 35, is four years into a ten-year sentence for a number of offences including grievous bodily harm and aggravated burglary.
He is said to have left Ford Open Prision at around 5.15pm on Tuesday, September 6, for work but then did not return at the end of his shift.
Pike, 39, was then subsequently found to have left at around 9.30am on Thursday, September 8. Sussex Police say that he may have travelled to London by train with plans to head to Liverpool.
Police have also advised that if you see either of these men do not approach them and please dial 999 immediately, quoting serial 1434 of 06/09.
