An electrical short circuit sparked a fire at a supermarket.
Staff at the Spar shop in Lewes Road, Brighton, saw smoke coming from an electrical intake at the store last night.
Two fire engines from Preston Circus, Brighton, went to the scene and dealt with the small fire in the duct.
One crew stayed on scene until experts from EDF Energy arrived to isolate the electricity supply.
Nobody was hurt.
