CELTIC boss Ange Postecoglou has been touted as the favourite to replace Graham Potter as Albion manager, according to a bookmaker.
Potter, who has served as the Seagulls’ manager since 2019, is reported to have “verbally agreed” to a deal to take the helm at Stamford Bridge following the surprise sacking of Thomas Tuchel yesterday.
Chelsea is reportedly offering £20 million for the Albion boss.
Bookmarkers Betfair put the Celtic boss 5/1 to replace Potter, should he join Chelsea this week.
The Australian took up the post at Celtic Park last year, propelling the team to victory at the Scottish League Cup.
Celtic also qualified for this year's Champions League, losing 3-0 to Real Madrid on Tuesday.
Also in contention for the post as Albion boss, according to Betfair, is Kjetil Knutsen, Norweigan coach at FK Bodo/Glimit, Brentford manager Thomas Frank and Nathan Jones - manager for Luton Town.
Albion legend Bruno has odds of 10/1 to replace Potter as manager.
