The annual Boyces Street party, hosted by the Fiddler's Elbow public house in Brighton, will be held tomorrow and the free entertainment will include live bands, Irish dancing, a barbecue, starting at 8pm.

In Worthing, local group Flash Company are staging an Irish party at the Pavilion Theatre (tomorrow, Marine Parade, 8pm, £10, 01903 206206). The band are well known for their upbeat blend of guitar, mandolin, fiddle and accordion. There will be cabaret-style seating and supervised children are welcome. All profits will go to the Children's Society.

Later in the day, the Barfly is putting on a free St Patrick's Day Mash-Up (tomorrow, Gloucester Place, Brighton, 10.30pm-4am, 0844 8472424). DJs Blake, Phinga, Huxley & Lotskee and Unity Hi-Fi will be playing out reggae, dubstep and drum'n'bass. There will be live VJs and drinks promos.
