The Uckfield MS Society branch has a number of members who have been waiting three months for an appointment, but at least they know what is wrong with them. It is those who have been tested and are waiting for the diagnosis we should be supporting.
Kathryn Philpott, the local support officer for the MS Society in our area, has emailed me to say: "The trust has employed a fulltime locum plus a Dr Nesbit is helping to clear the backlog."
