I'm thinking of becoming vegetarian but I'm wondering if there are any health risks?
There's some scientific evidence a vegetarian diet is actually healthier than a meat-eating one.
However, the one drawback is veggie diets don't contain much iron. So in order to avoid becoming anaemic, you may have to take iron tablets. That's particularly important if your periods are heavy, since women lose a lot of iron that way.
