Gavin King is often called the "king of jump-up jungle". His tracks are characterised by chopped-up hip-hop and ragga samples and he has put out many infamous white label-only bootlegs, including Mission Impossible and No Diggity.
He has often worked with Mickey Finn, with whom he also runs the Urban Takeover imprint, and has remixed Nine Inch Nails.
His third artist album, Break In Reality, came out last October.
