UK techno pioneers System 7 are touring to mark the release of new Manga-inspired album, Phoenix, and well-received Space Bird single.
Steve Hillage, who co-founded the project with with Miquette Giraudy, describes the record as an "ambient techno house groove".
Past albums have seen the pair collaborate with techno godfathers Carl Craig and Derrick May.
A member of Seventies prog-rockers Gong, one of Steve's early tracks is used as the theme for the Friday Night Project. He has also produced The Charlatans and Simple Minds.
The Nineties saw Eat Static become Megadog favourites and headline the dance tent at Glastonbury.
These days the duo are part of the psychedelic trance scene, playing festivals around the world.
DJ Slackbaba also appears.
