THE organisers of two art installations that saw Snowdogs and snails scattered across the city have announced a new “art adventure”.
Organisation Wild in Art announced that a new installation would be coming to Brighton and Hove in autumn of next year in a third project to raise money for the Martlets Hospice.
A cryptic post on social media said: “We’re delighted to announce that after the success of our Snowdogs in 2016 and Snails in 2018, another art adventure will be hitting the streets of Brighton and Hove in autumn 2023 to raise funds for Martlets Hospice.
“Our star of the show will be announced soon and we’ll be giving you some special hints over the next few weeks.”
❗Something is coming...

Councillor Martin Osborne welcomed the news and said: “This is exciting - I loved the snails, so I wonder what this new trail will be.
“It’s also for a great cause, so hopefully something we can all get behind.”
The Argus got in on the fun in 2016 with its very own Snowdog sculpture called Newshound, decorated with newspaper pages.
A total of 50 snails were placed across the city for the last installation in 2018, with some of the snails spotted outside the i360, Brighton Palace Pier and Brighton Station.
