DOGS and their owners will be out in force for the return of a Pride dog show.
The event at Preston Park in Brighton will see industry professionals judge pooches across several categories, including cutest puppy, fancy dress, waggiest tail and best rescue.
Organisers promise a “day of dun and barking frolics” as dogs and dog lovers come together for the annual event.
Owners will also be able to browse a selection of stalls and there will be a bar and refreshments at the park. They can also enjoy a glamorous catwalk doggy fashion show and a photo booth by award-winning photographer Chris Jepson.
The Pride Community Day and Dog Show tomorrow had been due to take place on July 24 but was postponed due to the heatwave that saw temperatures soar past 30C across Brighton and Hove.
Alongside the main events, there will be a number of other community and family activities taking place, including a pop-up "Make Your Mark" booth to create tiles to adorn a new mural at The Ledward Centre in Jubilee Street.
The dog show comes a few weeks after singer-songwriter Christina Aguilera wowed thousands of festival-goers at Preston Park for the return of Pride festivities in the city.
Todrick Hall, Ella Henderson and Paloma Faith also took to the main stage of the festival over the weekend earlier this month.
