THE A27 is partially blocked with around a mile of traffic after a car slid on surface water.
The incident happened today around 7am on the westbound side at the Fishbourne Roundabout, near Chichester.
There is around a mile of traffic on the A27.
The car is said to have aquaplaned.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: "Police responded to reports of a single-vehicle collision on the A27 westbound carriageway between Emsworth and Chichester shortly after 6.15am on Thursday, August 25.
"No serious injuries have been reported.
"The road is partially blocked while recovery of the vehicle is arranged."
