FIRE and rescue teams have attended after a large tree fell down in a residential area.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue were called to Montpelier Crescent, Brighton, at 12.32pm this afternoon.
Crews cordoned off the surrounding area and called a tree surgeon, as well as a representative from Brighton and Hove City Council.
A passer-by said that the tree had hit parked cars when it came down.
A spokesman for ESFR said: “At 12.32pm, we were called to attend Montpelier Crescent, Brighton following reports of a fallen tree. Firefighters from Brighton attended.
“Crews made the scene safe and requested a representative from Brighton and Hove City Council and a tree surgeon to attend.
“We left the scene at 1.11pm.”
