All Bar One in Brighton reopens after two-year closure

All Bar One in Brighton opened its doors to customers yesterday after an “extensive” four-week refurbishment.

In November 2020, the bustling establishment in Pavilion Buildings was significantly damaged by a blaze in North Street, which saw the whole road closed for nine and a half hours while firefighters battled to get the flames under control.

Luckily, as the pub was closed, no staff were at the scene.

However, due to the fire damage, the venue did not reopen when lockdown ended, leaving several staff unable to return to work.

A spokesman from All Bar One said six core staff members will return to work at the newly renovated site.

As well as the general repairs required to bring the site back to life, the bar has been given a complete revamp, inclucing new soft furnishings and an outdoor dining area.

Assistant manager at All Bar One Aidan Forster said he was “delighted” to reveal the bar’s new look.

“Myself and the team are absolutely delighted with the refurbishment, the designers have done a brilliant job modernising the interiors, better than I could have envisaged,” he said.
