EMERGENCY services carried out a late night search to find a “vulnerable” missing person.
Sussex Police and Newhaven RNLI were called to a location near Eastbourne just before midnight last night.
The person was found safe.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “The RNLI assisted us in a search for a missing person who was located safe.
“Whatever you are going through, services like the Samaritans will be willing to face those challenges with you and hopefully will help you see those challenges in a different light.
“These services are open day or night, every day of the year.”
An RNLI spokeswoman said: “Newhaven was tasked to search for a high-risk missing person.
“The crew didn’t locate anyone during their search and returned to station.”
