AN ARTS and entertainment festival is to take place on the pier.
Following last year’s PierFest, the month-long festival on Brighton Palace Pier is set to return from September 18 to October 16.
It will kick off with Britain’s Got Talent’s Steve Hewlett perform an evening of comedy alongside Arthur Lager.
Also on September 18 will be the world premiere of a new documentary film about Brighton comic Max Miller, aka The Cheeky Chappie.
Later in the festival, Coronation Street and Peaky Blinders star Jamie Kenna will take to the stage to discuss his life on screen and stage on October 8 and 9.
BBC radio DJ Mike Read will be presenting a pop music quiz, swing band The Jive Aces will be performing and a host of jazz acts will also take to the stage.
Full details of the line-up and tickets are available online.
