BEACHGOERS were left in shock after spotting a black Labrador surfing the waves.
The incredible footage was taken by Kerryn Groves, from Lindfield.
The 44-year-old said she was stunned after seeing the dog surf down the shore and dismount before being greeted by its owner on the beach.
"I can definitely say he was better than a lot of humans surfers I've seen,” she said.
"I’m a huge dog lover, so I sat and watched the doggie and his owner for ages - as it was loving every minute.
"Surfing was definitely something the dog's owner had taught him, and they look like they do it a lot.”
Kerryn said the dog’s owner surfed the board back out to sea while the dog swims after him before hopping back onboard for another surf.
Kerryn posted the video on social media, which has since received thousands of views and comments from impressed members of the public.
The video was taken at Fistral beach in Newquay, Cornwall, on Saturday, August 13.
