FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a blaze that erupted in a store room of a shop.
Crews from both Brighton and Hove were called to the scene in Sackville Road at around 8.10am this morning, with teams using breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
One passer-by said they saw fire engines blocking the road, with firefighters dashing in and out of the property as smoke was pouring out of the building.
A spokeswoman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said that the cause of the fire was deemed accidental.
