FIREFIGHTERS were called to a racecourse overnight following reports of a vehicle fire.
Crews from Brighton, Barcombe and Lewes were sent to Plumpton Racecourse just before midnight to tackle the blaze, which involves “large goods vehicles”.
Video shared on social media purporting to be of the blaze shows smoke billowing into the air as flames engulf the vehicle.
Fire crews are using breathing apparatus, 1 in 7 foam and a hose reel to tackle the fire.
