A RENOWNED chef has been added to the line-up of a food and music festival.
Pub In The Park is due to take place in Preston Park, Brighton, from September 16 to 18 this year.
The three-day festival will feature live music, cooking demonstrations, shopping and other entertainment.
Music acts taking to the stage include The Human League, Basement Jaxx, Gabrielle, Spice Girls member Melanie C, Soul II Soul and DJ duo Freemasons.
Now organisers have revealed that Marco Pierre White is one of 20 chefs to attend the event.
Marco, the first British chef to be awarded three Michelin stars, will be co-hosting Saturday afternoon at the festival, as well as holding exclusive Q&As and meeting and greeting festivalgoers.
Fashion model turned pub proprietor Jodie Kidd will be serving dishes from her award-winning pub menu.
Indian cuisine expert Atul Kochhar and The Tanner Brothers will be there, along with the winner of Great British Menu Lisa Goodwin Allen, the face of M&S Food's Chris Baber and plant-based chef Sophie Gordon.
Chefs from other Sussex restaurants including Cin Cin, Riddle and Finns, Ox Block, Coal Shed and Burnt Orange will be providing cooking demonstrations throughout the event.
Tom Kerridge, of two Michelin-starred The Hand and Flowers in Marlow, will be serving up his pork belly and smoked cod’s roe taco and British steak and ale pie served with horseradish creamed spinach and malt vinegar gravy.
“What incredible menus from all the pubs and restaurants joining us at our first ever Brighton show,” Tom said.
“I know the chefs have been working hard and I can’t wait for you all to come and experience the fantastic music, good times and amazing flavours on offer.”
The festival will also feature a new ‘Live and Cooking Hub’, which will offer live foodie entertainment across the weekend.
The festival will visit nine locations around the UK throughout the year, including London, Tunbridge Wells, Warwick, Bath and more.
