A DESSERT shop is celebrating the grand opening of its newest shop today and will be offering a massive discount.
Treatz Dessert is opening in Western Road, Brighton, from 6pm this evening and will have a ribbon cutting ceremony with new Mayor of Brighton, Lizzie Deane.
The franchise has grown from its first store in Slough, Berkshire, back in 2010, to 17 stores across the country, including in Brighton.
The shop will be offering 50 per cent off all desserts after its opening this evening.
Szri Ak, store manager, said: “We offer all desserts such as waffles, pancakes, gelato, milkshakes.
“We’re very excited to open in Brighton, we are doing a 50 per cent off deal too.
“The Mayor of Brighton is coming and doing a ribbon cutting.
“I am based from Eastbourne, we’re looking forward to working here and serving people of the city.”
The new shop has a modern interior with several booths for large groups.
It will provide around 30 jobs to the area.
Mark Jones, franchise manager, said: “We are extremely excited with how the new Treatz restaurant has materialised and can-not wait for our customers to experience it for themselves.
"As Treatz evolves and grows we are looking forward to sharing this newly and re-imagined luxury restaurant concept across a number of locations throughout the UK.
“The Treatz menu will continue to offer the best ingredients creating the ultimate desserts, with a dedicated team on hand to ensure the overall experience is one that will leave customers wanting to return over and over again.”
The shop will be open from 11am until 10pm every day but is opening today at 6pm for its grand unveiling.
The franchise also has plans to open stores around the UK, including Edinburgh, Watford and several other locations.
It hopes to have more than 20 stores by the end of this year.
