TWO sets of protesters are at one of the city’s libraries in a row over a drag queen’s story time event.
Protesters wearing shirts such as “keep drag away from children” can be seen in altercations with people standing in solidarity for drag queen Aida H Dee.
Pictures show a heavy presence from the group standing in solidarity with the event, while the anti-drag group are a "small smattering"
Sussex Police are guarding the entrance to the Jubilee Library in Jubilee Street, Brighton.
The protesters standing in solidarity with the drag queen arrived at the library from around 10am.
They will also be standing outside Hove Library in Church Road at 1pm, as well as Woodingdean Library in Warren Road, Brighton, at 3pm.
Sussex Police have been approached for comment.
