A BOY who donned his best regalia for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is the winner of The Argus picture competition.
Ethan Fowler, nine, scooped the £50 prize money for his top quality kit, as he dressed in Union Jack clothing and sunglasses.
He was looking forward to a school picnic with his classmates at Coombe Road Primary in Brighton.
Samantha Fowler, Ethan’s mum, said that recently he had been raking in the good luck.
“He’s my lucky charm at the moment, he’s doing so well at the moment,” she said.
“He’s just started doing drama, and he’s just got an award for that – so he’s doing really well.”
The Argus received dozens of photographs of people enjoying themselves over the jubilee weekend, while hundreds of street parties were held across Brighton and Hove.
The weather held out and people enjoyed a four-day, long weekend.
