ORGANISERS have begun setting up the stage ahead of the return of Pride celebrations next week.
Lorries and an assortment of metal fencing and construction materials were at Preston Park yesterday, getting the park ready for the We Are Fabuloso Pride festival, part of Brighton and Hove Pride.
Headliners taking to the stage next weekend include award-winning singer-songwriter Christina Aguilera, Paloma Faith, Ella Henderson, Todrick Hall and stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Bimini and Tia Kofi.
The event is part of a range of celebrations for Pride, including a parade through Brighton and Hove, a village party in Kemp Town and a dog show.
Festivities are returning to the city for the first time since the start of the pandemic and will be marking its 30th anniversary.
