LOVE Island stars Luca Bish and Gemma Owen are predicted to win the show, based on characteristics of past contestants.
Research by Boohoo has revealed that based on the attributes of the show's previous winners, the pair share the most similarities and therefore most likely to win the ITV2 dating show.
The average male winner of Love Island is 23-years-old, 5ft 11in, with brown hair and brown eyes and from the South East of England.
According to the data, Luca, a 23-year-old fishmonger from Rottingdean, most fits the description.
Meanwhile, Gemma, the daughter of football star Michael Owen, also shares similarities with previous female winners, which include an average age of 22, height of 5ft 3 and blue eyes and brown hair.
A Boohoo spokeswoman said: “Love Island has been incredibly successful since it started and so understandably each year thousands of applicants try their luck at getting a place on the show to find a partner.
“As the competition gets tougher each year, it is exciting to see which contestants can stick it out for a place in the final and claim the £50,000 prize.
“With this series’ final on Monday night, the data would suggest that Gemma Owen and Luca Bish have the winning combination of characteristics out of this year’s cast.”
Brunette women, such as Amber Davies and Dani Dyer, also have a better chance of winning, while for men, six out of the seven male winners have brown hair and five out of seven have brown eyes.
The majority of the male winners were not part of the original cast, unlike Luca, with four out of seven winners being bombshells.
Meanwhile, male winners coupled up with fewer partners during their time in the villa in comparison to female winners. On average, the women that won the show coupled up with three partners, while the men coupled up with an average of two.
