RNLI volunteers have paid tribute to a long-serving fundraiser who passed away aged 81.
The ashes of Margaret Minski were scattered at sea off the coast of Saltdean earlier this month.
During a short service, a volunteer said: “May you rest in peace with the ebb and flow of the tide. We wish you peace and tranquillity as we say our final goodbye today, and may the Lord bless you and keep you safe, always.
“Fair winds and following seas.”
Ms Minski, who was part of the RNLI’s fundraising team in Brighton for 18 years, died in August 2019.
A spokeswoman for RNLI Brighton said: “We will be forever grateful for Margaret’s contribution to the charity.”
