A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and assault after a bar was broken into overnight.
Police were called to an incident at Woodies Bar, in St Pancras, Chichester, just after 2am on Friday, July 22.
Two men passing by noticed a window had been smashed and found two other men inside attempting to steal items.
They attempted to detain the men until officers arrived on scene.
A 53-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of burglary and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He remains in custody.
