TWENTY years on from his historic beach gig, Fatboy Slim performed on Brighton seafront again last night.
The 58-year-old DJ performed in front of thousands of fans east of Brighton Palace Pier as the headline act for the first night of the On The Beach festival.
People from all over the country travelled to see Fatboy, who lives in Hove, 20 years almost to the day after his Big Beach Boutique 2 on July 13, 2002.
Incredible drone images taken last night show huge crowds enjoying the show, as well as Fatboy revealing Brighton and Hove Albion’s much-anticipated new home kit during his set.
Before Fatboy appeared, there were sets from artists Keeq, Dorothy’s Fortress, Sarah Story and Eats Everything.
Tonight, Friday, Fatboy will be returning to the stage and there will be performances from Storken with Sasha B, Dance System and LP Giobbi.
The DJ will not perform on Saturday or Sunday but DJ Carl Cox will headline Saturday, along with Nic Fanciulli, Chelina Manuhutu and Russell Small.
Sunday will see Andy C perform, along with Sub Focus and Wilkinson, Shy FX, Dimension, Friction and Harriet Jaxxon.
