FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze near a seafront nightclub.
Emergency services were called to the scene near Legends bar and nightclub in Marine Parade, Kemp Town, Brighton in the early hours of Tuesday.
Some passersby thought the club was on fire but the fire was at a property in Margaret Street and quickly dealt with by East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.
A Legends spokesman said “No fire here thankfully. There was a small blaze at one of the houses in Margaret Street, but it was all tamed very quickly by the excellent crews from Preston Circus."
