EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a three-car crash on the A259.

The road in Pevensey Bay is blocked in both directions following the incident on Tuesday morning.

Photographs from the scene show a number of police cars and ambulances on the road.

As a result of the crash between Western Road and Asda, traffic is queueing in the area.

It is also reportedly affecting traffic between Eastbourne and Bexhill.

The exact details and injuries to those involved are not yet known.

Sussex Police have been approached for comment.
