POLICE have carried out seafront foot patrols in a bid to tackle poor behaviour.
Officers have stepped up their presence in and around St Aubyns in Hove.
“Following reports of antisocial behaviour in the area, our officers carried out some directed foot patrols in the St Aubyns South area,” a police spokesman said.
“We are pleased to report that when we attended, all was peaceful and in order.
“We will continue to patrol the area and keep an eye on things however please report to us if you become aware of any antisocial behaviour or have any information.
“You can report online, via 101 or in an emergency call 999. Please remember our social media channels are not monitored 24/7.”
Last week, police also increased their foot patrols in and around Linden Park in Littlehampton.
Meanwhile, Brighton and Hove Police carried out patrols in the Preston Park rock gardens after complaints about antisocial behaviour.
“One young person was in the wrong place for them, but the very right time for us - they had their cannabis seized,” a police spokesman said.
