A 70-YEAR-OLD man has been killed in a car crash.
Emergency services were called to the collision on the A21 at Ebdens Hill, Hastings, at about 2pm on Monday, July 11.
Police said the crash, which happened just south of Claremont School, involved a Ford Kuga and a Isuzu D-Max.
A 70-year-old man, from Chatham, Kent, who was the driver of one of the vehicles involved, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next-of-kin have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers.
A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
He has been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
Police are also appealing for witnesses following the fatal road collision.
