POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a four car pile-up.
The crash happened just before 5pm on Saturday, July 9 in Old Shoreham Road, near the Amsterdam Inn pub, Shoreham.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Just before 5pm on Saturday, July 9, police responded to a four-car collision in Old Shoreham Road, Shoreham.
“Four people were taken to hospital with injuries varying from minor to serious, but non-life threatening.
“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information which could help officers with their investigation is asked to report it to police by emailing collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk quoting serial number 1037 of 09/07.”
The weekend saw several serious crashes, including a head on crash involving a lorry and car along the A23 in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A 23-year-old man from Cuckfield was pronounced dead.
