A DOCUMENTARY surrounding an acid attack using coverage by The Argus has been screened.
The BBC show, called Frontline Fightback, details the story of Milad Rouf, a medical student who threw sulphuric acid over his former girlfriend while disguised as a woman in Brighton.
Rouf attacked Rym Alaoui with sulphuric acid after she opened the door of her home in Steine Gardens on May 20 - six weeks after the pair had broken up.
The 25-year-old was jailed for 11 years, while Rym, who is in her twenties, was left with life-changing injuries.
Connor Stringer, a former reporter at The Argus, features in the 45-minute programme, which shares the tales of how Rouf dressed as a woman to try and get away with the attack.
The show also details how Rouf dumped his disguise in bins across the city before buying new clothes in Primark and fleeing to his home in Wales.
Meanwhile, the programme also showed pictures of a shopping list detailing his disguise which was found during a search of his flat.
