A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm following an assault.
Officers attended Wellington Square, Hastings, around 7.35pm on Tuesday, June 28 following a report of a man found unconscious.
He was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries described as serious but not life-threatening or life-changing.
Enquiries established the man had been assaulted and a 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in custody at this time.
Pictures taken at the scene show emergency services attending the incident whilst forensics teams gather evidence. A police cordon was also put in place.
