A MOTORCYCLIST has been fined for having no insurance.

Kieran Mackinder has been ordered to pay a total of £508 by Hastings magistrates after being caught on a Kawasaki motorbike without insurance and not in accordance with his licence in Offington Lane, Worthing, on January 1.

The 23-year-old was proved guilty in a single justice procedure.

Mackinder, of Birkdale Close, Durrington, was fined £380 and given six points on his licence.

He will also have to pay £90 in court costs and a surcharge of £38 to fund victim services.
