POLICE have increased patrols in antisocial behaviour ”hotspots” in a village and a town.
Officers from Arun Police have stepped up their presence in and around Felpham and Rustington in an attempt to combat the issue.
A police spokesman said the “targeted patrols” were in response to concerns by members of the local community.
“Our Neighbourhood Policing Team were out on targeted patrols to tackle antisocial behaviour issues reported in Felpham and Rustington,” he said.
“When you see us on patrol please come and say hello and speak with us about any concerns that you may have.
“To report antisocial behaviour, please call us on 101 or online. In an emergency always dial 999.”
Earlier this month, police also increased patrols in a park in Brighton following reports of antisocial behaviour.
Officers from Brighton and Hove Police stepped up their presence at Kipling Gardens in an attempt to combat the issue.
Meanwhile, police increased patrols in and around Queens Park after reports of drug dealing at the start of June this year.
