A NURSERY has been rated as “outstanding” after finding that children “are incredibly happy, safe and radiate confidence”.
Hopscotch Hove Station is “thrilled” to have been awarded the rating in all areas following a recent Ofsted inspection on May 19.
The glowing report highlights the nursery team’s “hard work and dedication” despite recruitment challenges and the ongoing impact of Coronavirus since their last inspection.
In their official report inspectors said: “Children are incredibly happy, safe and radiate confidence during their time at nursery.
“They demonstrate extremely high self-esteem as they show delight in their achievements.”
They also found that the nursery’s ethos allows children to “feel safe and flourish” in their development.
It also commends staff for their relationship with parents and professionals, adding that parents have spoken highly of the care and education.
Inspectors said: “Staff are inspirational role models who inspire and motivate children to be the best they can be.
“They create a culture of mutual respect celebrating children’s differences and uniqueness.”
The Nursery Manager Natasha Hilton said: “We are all absolutely thrilled with our amazing Outstanding Ofsted report.
“The team worked incredibly hard for this great achievement, it was thoroughly deserved, and everyone is very proud, especially after all the challenges we have experienced throughout Covid.”
