A SPECIAL aerial display is set to take place this afternoon which will see a Battle of Britain Spitfire fly over Sussex.
The display is taking place as part of Armed Forces Day 2022 and will see the memorial flypast circle over the sea at Littlehampton at around 3.45pm.
It is just one of the events taking place in the town today as people come out in celebration of those who serve, and have served, in the Armed Forces.
There will be entertainment in the main arena including further displays, re-enactments, pipe bands, as well as an aerial display over the sea and demonstrations from local cadet and community groups.
Around the arena will be a static display of military vehicles, a charity fair including stands from service charities, organisations and local cadets, museum tent, food stalls, performances from local bands on our stage, assault course and Scouts crate challenge.
