Proposals for the Hanover and Tarner liveable neighbourhood include one way streets, road closures, no entry to two way streets, greening measures, and “parklets” in the street.
The proposed one way streets include Islingward Road, and many streets off of there – as well as Albion Hill, and the road north east of there.
Greening measures are proposed for Elm Grove and Queen’s Park Road.
The mini parklets are proposed for Richmond Parade and the bottom of Islingward Road.
There are proposed road closures in Kingswood Street, Carlton Hill, the junction of John Street and Sussex Street, between Ashton Rise and Grove Hill, the junction of Islingward Road and Park Road, and near the bottom of Bentham Road.
These are all part of the lower traffic neighbourhood scheme.
